Support the Craig Family After Tragic Loss

The WNC area was devastated by Hurricane Helene on Friday, Sept 27, 2024. The Fairview community, just southeast of Asheville, was hit particularly hard.

Pillars of the community, the Craig family, suffered an unimaginable tragedy where 11 people in their family lost their lives and many more lost their homes in an area lovingly known as “Craigtown” due to a landslide that was triggered without warning by unprecedented rains.

We are personal friends of the Craig family and wanted to support them by putting this together to help them with whatever needs they currently have and will have in the coming weeks/months.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated by the entire family — it will go towards rebuilding homes, funeral arrangements, medical expenses, unemployment during the grieving process, etc. Family members of the Craig’s affected by this tragedy may also be known with the last name(s) including but not limited to: Harris, Wright, etc
