Support the Daigle Family after Two Emergencies

On June 25th, four-year-old Elliot had a seizure and was unable to walk, with his right side not working. He was rushed by ambulance to Frisbee Hospital, where they did a CT scan and decided he needed to be taken to Boston Children's Hospital for further evaluation. An MRI there confirmed something unimaginable: Elliot had a stroke.
Just 24 hours before, on a family motorcycle trip in Canada, Elliot’s father Mike hit a soft patch of sand that caused his motorcycle to enter what is known as "The Death Wobble." Unable to recover, he flipped over the handlebars. Despite wearing a helmet, it came off upon impact with the ground. Mike sustained multiple injuries, including broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a punctured lung, numerous facial lacerations, and a concussion.
When Mike found out about Elliot, he immediately left Canada and headed to Boston. When Mike arrived to be with Elliot, Beth noticed that Mike could barely move due to his inability to breathe. She took him next door to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where doctors discovered he had a collapsed lung that required a chest tube.
Both Mike and Elliot spent the week in the hospital to heal and undergo testing. Elliot underwent numerous tests, including two echocardiograms, an angiogram, another MRI and CT scan, and more blood work than you can imagine. Despite all these tests, the cause of his stroke still remains unknown. Though Elliot has returned home and is back to his happy, bubbly self, he needs ongoing monitoring by one of the best pediatric stroke doctors in the country, to continue to search for answers and monitor his health. His family continues to watch for any changes and remains hopeful that Elliot will be okay.
Both Mike and Elliot are now back home, but the challenges are far from over and the impact of these events are starting to sink in. Mike has missed a lot of work as an electrician due to his injuries. Beth and Mike deserve to focus on Elliot’s and Mike’s health, without stressing about finances.
Your support can make a significant difference during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution will help alleviate the financial strain and ensure that both Mike and Elliot receive the care they need.
Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
