Support the Dang Family in Their Time of Loss

Hello, my name is Tiana Dang and I want to thank you for taking the time to read this.

On the morning of Friday, August 9, my dad Thinh Viet Dang suddenly passed away from cardiac arrest. This came as a complete shock to our family as he has never had any prior history of medical conditions. He was only 63 years old, and it would’ve been his 64th birthday on August 17. We were unable to be in contact with him or be there during his last moments. Our whole family, including my mom, and 2 sisters, were abroad in Vietnam when we heard the tragic news. Although we planned to stay in Vietnam for 3 weeks, we rushed back immediately after only 1 week to plan for his funeral. This trip really meant a lot to our family since my mom hasn’t been able to see her family there in over 10 years. What was supposed to be a family reunion was suddenly cut short by this devastating news.

We want to honor my father as a Vietnamese immigrant who came to America with a dream to start a better life for his family. He worked tirelessly everyday to provide and ensure a brighter future for us. He was a source of strength and a guiding light in our lives. Although we were far away in Vietnam when he passed, his love will always remain in our hearts. We will hold on to the cherished memories with him during his time here.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial strain for our family during this incredibly difficult time.
