Support the Davis Family's Studio Restoration After Helene
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
When Hurricane Helene passed over North Carolina, the waters of the French Broad reached unprecedented strength and height. The water inundated my family's home of Marshall, NC. For anyone who knows Marshall, they know the creativity, kindness, and passion that resides within the community there. Part of that lies in my parents' studio off of Main Street. For the past years, my parents have spent countless hours creating their lives, friendships, and community through this studio. Helene's waters rose to 13 feet within the studio and brought destruction to all of the machinery. This GoFundMe is created with the hopes of helping my father rebuild his woodworking shop and my parents their joy. If you have the resources to donate, I am asking for any assistance. Otherwise, please consider sharing with others. Helene has been kinder to my family than so many others. We are eternally grateful to have our community.
Thank you,
The Davis Family

The water ripped the shelves off the wall and moved heavy wood working equipment across the room and on their sides.
