David's fire accident

It's been a rough couple of months for David and our family. When It rains it pours!
I'm updating our previously set up gofund me to update everyone on the current situation.
He finally had been cleared by his previous Doctors to return to work after being out sick for 2 months. He had instructions that he will need to be seen every 6 months to make sure the spots that had been biopsied previously have no change. He was finally feeling much better!
He had only been back at work for about 3 weeks. On Sunday the 11th (our 9 year wedding anniversary) he had an accident with the fire pit. He had started it, everything was fine but then a few minutes later some sort of combustible cans exploded. They had been thrown in the very bottom under all the Burnable stuff. When It exploded it threw David back about 5 feet when he realized what happened his legs were on fire.
He has 3rd and 4th degree burns on both legs from the knee down. He went to the ER 3 times since that Sunday. He had been sent home with medication the first 2 times that was not helpful at all and he had been in the worst pain he has ever felt. By Thursday morning at 6 am he no longer could handle the amount of pain he was in, he couldn't bend his legs at all anymore and could put no weight on them. I took him back to the ER that morning and they finally admitted him to the hospital.
The first goal was to get his pain under control. Now the goal is to keep that pain manageable and work on healing and PT to be able to function at a basic needs level. He is still in the hospital and will likely be there the rest of this week. Possibly longer, will all depend on his progress the next few days.
He will be out of work again for the foreseeable future. This type of injury can take up to a year to heal fully.
We tried to get him on temporary disability but he does not qualify because the burns aren't on enough of his body, and because his job doesn't have any type of Health insurance he doesn't qualify under that either.
We were already drowning in medical bills and regular bills from the previous sickness and cancer scare and him being out of work for those couple of months. Now this just really threw us off since David was the sole provider of our family while I took care of our kids.
The kiddos got to visit him yesterday now that he has been moved into the burn unit of the hospital. They sure do miss having their daddy at home.
I miss him being home just as much!
Thank you to everyone who has help us these last few months. Each and every one of you are amazing and we are so thankful to you all!
If you don't mind, share David's story. We hate having to ask for help but we are low on options for the next couple months.
Once the kids go back to school (Ryhan and Dixon) our youngest (Blakely) will most likely have to be put in daycare and I will get a job to carry us through these months to come. Until then I will have to be a caregiver and full time mama!
***Just a warning some of the pictures I'm adding are a little gnarly ****
