Support the Dreon Family as Cooper fights Leukemia

Donation protected
This week, Cooper Dreon, the 20-year-old son of Rachel Dreon and Jeff Dreon, received a life-altering diagnosis of B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). This news came as a sudden and overwhelming shock to the Dreon family, and they are now navigating this unexpected and challenging journey together.

Cooper is currently receiving world-class care at UW Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, where he has already begun preparation for immediate treatment. While the medical team is optimistic about his care plan, the road ahead will be long and require frequent travel between their home in Thurston County and Seattle.

For the next few weeks, Cooper will remain hospitalized, and Rachel, along with her family, is making arrangements to stay nearby. As Cooper’s recovery progresses, they will need to continue traveling to Seattle regularly for appointments and ongoing treatment.

The financial burden of medical bills, lodging, food, and travel is mounting quickly. As a family friend, I know the Dreons to be strong, kind, and deeply involved in their community. Rachel has spent her career in public service and soon will be our Thurston County Commissioner, and now it’s our turn to support her and her family in this time of need.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial stress on the Dreons, allowing them to focus entirely on Cooper’s recovery. Every dollar donated will go directly toward:

• Lodging and food expenses while staying in Seattle.
• Travel costs for the many trips they will need to make to ensure Cooper receives the best care possible.
• Out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give at this time, we ask that you share this campaign with others and keep Cooper and the Dreon family in your thoughts and prayers. If there are any funds remaining after Cooper's treatment is complete and the expenses are covered, they will be donated to The Mayday Foundation.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we come together to support this incredible family during such a difficult time.
