Support the Dvorak Family

Dear friends, family, and community members,

I have known the Dvorak family since I met Joshua on the first day of middle school in 2009. I grew to know them as a warm, generous family who love to enjoy life with each other and with their loved ones; they have built an incredible community in Wausau, WI through their intentional connections with others over the many decades they have lived in the region.

On Thursday, August 8th, Monica and Alonzo Dvorak were involved in a devastating accident that forever changed their lives. Alonzo tragically lost his life, while Monica sustained severe injuries that require extensive medical care. Although she has begun the long and challenging journey of recovery, the road ahead will certainly be difficult.

Their children, Joshua and Anjali, are standing by their family with unwavering support, all while navigating their own life paths. The two live in Philadelphia, where Joshua is currently in dental school and Anjali is pursuing an MBA. Despite their commitments, Anjali will be moving back to Wisconsin temporarily to be closer to the family during this critical time.

The Dvoraks' community has rallied around them in this time, providing emotional and physical support as they adapt to this change in life circumstances. I am writing this to reach out to all who know and love the Dvoraks, as well as kind-hearted individuals who wish to lend a hand, to contribute as they can to support the family.

Your donations will go directly to the Dvorak family, covering medical expenses, ensuring Monica receives the best possible care, and providing for the family’s immediate needs during this challenging time. Our support will help ease the burden on Joshua and Anjali, allowing them to focus on their mother’s recovery and their futures without the added stress of financial strain.
