As the founder of the English Study and Research Group (ESRG) at Kaduna State University, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of this initiative. In 2023, I launched ESRG with the goal of fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and a deep love for literature among our students. We embarked on an eight-month journey, delving into literary analysis, research, and interactive presentations. And as the report I have provided shows, the results were remarkable.

Now, due to my demanding schedule as a PhD student, I am thrilled to hand over the reins of ESRG to the very students who have benefited from its programs. They are ready to lead the charge, organizing a vibrant second phase that includes peer tutoring, creative writing classes, workshops, career talks, and the highly anticipated ESRG festival.
