Hello, my name is Nonna, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help.
I am the mother of a beautiful 7-year-old child and the wife of Stephen, a brave Marine veteran who dedicated his life to serving our country and caring for his family. Stephen proudly served in three wars, displaying courage and commitment that defined his character both in and out of uniform. As a devout Christian, he lived his life helping everyone around him, always putting others before himself. We were blessed to share 17 wonderful years together, building a life filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future.
Tragically, this week, our lives were shattered in an unimaginable way. Stephen was senselessly murdered, shot right in front of our home while he was taking our dog for a walk. In an instant, our world was turned upside down, and the pillar of our family was taken from us.
Stephen was not only a hero to our nation but also the sole breadwinner for our family. As a full-time stay-at-home mom, I now find myself grappling with the harsh reality of our situation. We are terrified of the uncertainty that lies ahead. With no income and the immense responsibility of caring for our young child, I am overwhelmed by the mounting bills and the fear of losing our home. The future has never felt more uncertain, and every day is a struggle to keep going.
