Support the family of Dr. Samuel Nodal after unexpected loss

On October 11th, 2024, our world changed forever. We lost Dr. Samuel Nodal, an extraordinary father, devoted husband, and dedicated physician whose faith and immense love for others guided every step of his life. At the young age of 52, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest after arriving home from work, unfortunately despite best efforts from family, emergency personnel, and the physicians at the hospital, his heart was unable to be restarted. His unexpected passing has left an immeasurable pain in our hearts, but his legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in all the lives he touched.

Dr. Nodal was a good and kind family man who never hesitated to help those in need. His friends and family knew they could call him any time of the day, and he would immediately get in his car and go help them. Aside from working diligently at his job, Dr. Nodal did house and hospital visits for friends and family members nearly weekly, served with the nuns of San Vicente de Paul, and worked on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether caring for patients or helping a neighbor in need, he embodied generosity and warmth. He was not just a healer by profession but by nature, making every person he encountered feel valued. In his free time, Dr. Nodal enjoyed spending time with his family, going to church together, singing karaoke, playing guitar, and flying airplanes.

Unfortunately, his family is now left without their beloved father, best friend, and provider. He is outlived by his wife Yaneisy, his two children, Samuel and Daniel, and his daughter-in-law Maria Sara who all dream of following in his steps and becoming compassionate physicians. His oldest son and daughter-in-law are currently medical students graduating as physicians soon and his youngest son is a sophomore in high school. He will always be a role model for the kind of people and doctors his children aspire to be.

As they navigate this profound loss the Nodal family is relying on their faith and the love of their community to find strength. Dr. Nodal was the family's primary source of support, and his unexpected departure has left them in need of help as they adjust to a future without him.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to support the Nodal family as they cope with the emotional and financial burdens that come with losing their beloved husband and father so suddenly.
