As many of you know, my father, Mark Moore unexpectedly passed away on January 24th, 2023. Mark and Donna Moore were married for 36 years and raised their triplets (Kevin, Jeff, and Jessie) surrounded by love, music, sports, and great memories. You could always find him sitting in his favorite chair cheering on the Bears, Sox, or Blackhawks. He loved every opportunity he got to gather our family around the dinner table to play cards, rock out to our favorite bands, and share a drink with his family.
My Dad loved to meet new people, connect with them, and could make you feel like the most important person in the room. He always wanted to bring joy and a “good time” attitude to every conversation and get-together.
We are grieving, but we know that he would want his family and friends to raise a glass, crank up the stereo, and enjoy the time spent with each other and celebrate all the good times.
My dad was one of the hardest workers I have ever known, and many of his coworkers would agree. My dad worked his whole life in retail and truly adored the people he met through the many different jobs he had. With this, my dad was the main breadwinner for our family, and always did what he could to provide for us.
Many of you have reached out to our family in support and asked in what ways you could help us, especially financially, as we mourn the loss of a husband and a father. We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and kindness. We have cried over, laughed at, and loved every story and memory that has been shared with us of how Mark impacted his family, friends, and colleagues.
