We are reaching out to our community with heavy hearts to support the family of Mohamud Wali Mursal, a beloved father and community member who tragically passed away after suffering severe burns in a devastating car fire. Mohamud fought courageously for over a week in the ICU, but despite the efforts of medical professionals, he returned to Allah (SWT).

This kind and hardworking father leaves behind 9 children, now orphans, who are in desperate need of our support. Mohamud was not only a pillar of strength for his family here but also for the family he worked tirelessly to build and support back home.

We are humbly asking the Somali and Muslim communities in the Twin Cities—and anyone moved by this heartbreaking story—to come together to ease the burden on this family. Your donations will help:
