Police Officer Tamarris Bohannon Family Support

Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Officer Tamarris L. Bohannon, affectionately known as “Bo” to his squad, fell in the line of duty while protecting his community on August 29 and passed away on August 30, 2020.  Officer Bohannon underwent surgery before succumbing to his injuries the next day.

Officer Bohannon leaves behind his wife Alexis and three children: Tamara (age 10), Ayden (age 7) and Tylor (age 6) as well as his parents, Elizabeth and Al, who first met while serving our country in the armed forces. Tamarris felt called to serve his community and pursue justice for all, graduating from the academy in January 2017 and serving on the Saint Louis force since. In the words of his family, Tamarris was a “hero to many, but most importantly to his loving wife and three incredible children.”

The thoughts and prayers of the Rubicon community and those who work closely with Elizabeth Bohannon everyday are with the family of Officer Bohannon during this difficult time. Please help us in supporting his family through the days and weeks ahead. Funds obtained through this initiative will be directly provided to Officer Bohannon’s family to assist with living and personal expenses. Thank you.
