Support the Family of Officer Baldemar Sandoval
Donation protected
I'm raising money for the surviving family of my best friend, LAPD Officer Baldemar Jerry Sandoval, who tragically passed away in a car accident. He leaves behind his wife and 4-year old twins.
This money goes directly to his wife and children to help with the expenses of raising two kids on her own.
Jerry passed away tragically early on the morning of 4/15/2023 as he was driving home to Rancho Cucamonga from Los Angeles at 2:30 am after a work shift. While we are still unclear on the details of what happened, Jerry often worked long hours for the LAPD before making that long drive home to be with his family.
(If you'd like to read what happened, here's the story from ABC News.)
He was a joyful, smart, generous person
Jerry was a remarkable person who touched the lives of many. He was a dedicated police officer who worked tirelessly to keep the streets of Los Angeles safe. He was also a loving husband and father who cherished his family.
I first met Jerry in college, and we quickly became close friends. He was very outgoing and had a great sense of humor. His great smile and loud, goofy laugh could light up any room. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it and was always generous with his time and resources.
His career as an LAPD officer
A few years after college, Jerry joined the LAPD, where he would have a lot of success. He was a natural leader who commanded respect from his colleagues and the community he served. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help those in need, and he never backed down from a challenge.
Despite his larger-than-life personality, Jerry was also very smart and had a keen mind for police work. He loved being a police officer and making the world better. He was always looking for ways to improve his skills and make a difference in his community. His personality helped him blend in anywhere and Jerry met people everywhere he went.
His family
Jerry's twin boys were the joy of his life. They love to sing, play music, and put on performances. Jerry and his wife Christine's Instagram is full of great videos of them that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. She is a hard-working mom who juggles taking care of the twins and her career as a real estate agent. Together, they made a beautiful family, and Jerry loved nothing more than spending time with them.
Would you like to help?
Now, with Jerry's passing, his family is left without his love and support. Jerry was a beloved member of his community, and I know that many people would like to help his family during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Let's come together to support the family of a true hero.
As we mourn Jerry's passing, let us also celebrate his life and all that he accomplished. He was a true hero who gave his all to make the world a better place. Rest in peace, Jerry. We will miss you dearly.
