It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zoraida “Smiley” Rodriguez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Her contagious smile lit up every room she entered, and her kindness and generosity touched the lives of so many. Smiley was always there for anyone who needed help, offering her love, support, and unwavering strength.
Zoraida loved life and found joy in the simple yet meaningful moments. She had a passion for bowling, cooking delicious meals for her family and friends, the vibrant beats of salsa music, and, above all, being a devoted mother and grandmother. Her kitchen was a place of love and togetherness, where her dishes brought people closer and created cherished memories.
She is preceded by her late father Augustine Rodriguez, survived by her mother Ana Diaz, her sisters Irene and Carmen, her brother Wilson, her daughter Yanira “Yaya” Figueroa, her son Edwin Figueroa, and her cherished grandchildren Kristian, Jaiden, and Isaly.
During this difficult time, we kindly ask for your support to help cover funeral expenses and honor Zoraida’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated as we lay our beloved Smiley to rest and celebrate the incredible life she lived.
Your generosity will not only help ease the financial burden on her family but will also allow us to create a beautiful farewell, just as she deserves.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this challenging time.
