Support the Fawber Family After Tragic Family Loss
Donation protected
My name is Janelle and I have been close friends (more like sisters) with Megan since middle school. Chris and Canada entered the scene in our later years and immediately became family, as well.
On January 9th, 2025 Chris, Canada, & Megan's lives were rocked with the news that Chris's Dad and Mom passed away tragically in a house fire that burnt their house to the ground and claimed both of their lives. In the midst of Chris (and the family) grieving this huge loss, trying to figure out what employment looks like moving forward, he is also left with the burden of funeral expenses for BOTH parents. There were no plans by his parents that they are aware of, so this is all on the family at this point. Any expenses that would be raised beyond the funeral costs, would help the family with any other upcoming expenses, whether it be restoring some of the property damage and to sustain Chris while he figures out life's next steps for himself.
Chris and his dad, Kenny worked together installing windows for a company Kenny created and owned since the 80's. Kenny and Chris had a great father and son relationship and were each others' rock. They did pretty much everything together, including serving the Hershey Bears team faithfully with their time and service with hosting the visiting hockey teams. Kenny helped with the Bears for 23 years. Kenny wasn't known to sit still much, worked very hard and always kept himself busy with something. Helen entered Chris's life when he was 11 and he loved her so much, he requested that Kenny and Helen get married for his birthday gift the following year, so they obliged. Helen also had a son, Bubba, his wife, Tiffany and their children, Quinlynne & Aideynn, they were all also very loved by both Kenny and Helen. They had just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve. Kenny and Helen had vibrant, wonderful personalities and were both very loved by so many! They adored and loved their grandkids and that love was mutually returned. To say the world lost two amazing people in such a horrible way, is a major understatement! A Celebration of life date is to be determined, but the fees for the cremation process for the two of them will be needed soon.
