Support the Ferguson's and Stella

Stella Colleen Lucille Ferguson was born on June 14, 2016, to Ashley Ferguson and Forrest Ferguson with a genetic heart condition called aortic stenosis with a heart murmur. Since birth, they have had to go to the Stollery every few months for checkups to determine if Stella would require surgery. By the age of 15 months, Stella had to undergo a procedure called aortic catheterization to widen the aortic valve. Unfortunately, there was a complication causing the valve to stretch too much. The aortic valve now regurgitates blood back into the heart which causes Stella's heart to overwork. Now at 5 years old, the team of Cardiologists at the Children's Stollery in Edmonton have decided it is time for Stella to have open-heart surgery to replace her aortic valve. This procedure is quite extensive and requires a 3 week hospital stay. Both parents will be taking time off to stay with Stella and help her during the recovery process. Please help this family escape the stress of financial burden during this time, allowing them the time needed to care for their daughter.
