Support the Ferrulli Family in Memory of Mason

The Ferrulli’s, if you know, you know! This family has endured suffering like no other, especially Mason. Through it all, they kept strong in faith, a great attitude, and dedicated their valuable time helping others. This loving family sat with Mason as he joined Jesus in heaven on the evening of 7/18/24.
In Mason’s short, but powerful presence, his body went through so much! He never complained, but instead always made sure everyone around him was okay. He was full of so much life, love, and the desire to give back/to others like I’d never seen. His diagnosis of brain/spine cancer began January 10th, 2017. From that point on he had the following procedures/treatments:
January 13th 2017
~14 hour brain surgery
February-May 2017
~33 rounds of photon radiation
May 2018
~Gamma knife surgery (brain)
August 2019
~7 hour brain surgery
September 2020
~Spine surgery
October - December 2020
~ 33 rounds of full brain/spine proton radiation
April 2021 - December 2021
~Avastin infusions (bi-weekly)
June - July 2023
Infusion Trial UCSF
July 27th 2023
~ Spine surgery
August 2023
~CRISPR stem cell therapy
October 2023
~5 rounds photon radiation spine
November 2023-July 2024
~Chemotherapy
April 2024

June 2024

Kyle and Monica quit their jobs in 2019 to be by Mason’s side 24/7. They attended every treatment together and dedicated their life to getting him healthy despite the costs. They are grateful they did this because they were able to give him the best treatments available and create invaluable memories along the way. Unfortunately with a recurrence every year, Mason’s body was slowly shutting down. With the new diagnosis of a new spinal tumor and the treatment associated, Mason’s lungs had taken too much and were no longer able to support his body, so he went into lung failure and passed away directly from that (but with underlying cancer issues).
But, with neither Kyle or Monica working and this new tragedy on their laps, this wonderful family could use our help! The Ferrulli’s wanted to acknowledge the amazing family owned Deegan Funeral home and their generosity in covering a good portion of Mason’s services. However, they still do have other costs associated with Mason’s passing that no parent should have to stress about. In addition to that, after spending the last 8 years fighting this horrific battle, they could use some down time to process everything, take care of themselves, spend some family time together, help their daughter process what she witnessed in the hospital, and while doing this, they should not have to worry about bills as long as possible. They also have medical bills that have accumulated over the years (Monica already said she is not paying them all but there are some that they have to)! Let’s stand together and show this family what their son, Mason, meant to so many people and give them a financial cushion and peace of mind in this difficult time! Let’s help give him the service he deserves! We are TEAMMASON and today we need to show The Ferrulli’s family how much they have touched our lives!
