Support the Fight for Democracy and Freedom in Georgia
Donation protected
Georgia is facing an existential war against the oppressive Russian-backed regime. The parliamentary elections of October were blatantly falsified and rigged by the ruling party, leading to the establishment of an illegitimate parliament and a constitutional coup. Democracy has been dismantled, and the voices of the Georgian people are being silenced.
Courageous protests are breaking out across all major cities, with the centre of the movement being led by young artists and activists. Many of these brave individuals are queer artists, standing at the forefront of resistance against tyranny.
The regime’s response has been brutal. The streets of Tbilisi have become battlegrounds, with police deploying tear gas, rubber bullets, and violent crackdowns. Hundreds of peaceful demonstrators have been arrested, many brutally beaten, simply for demanding justice and new election.
Most of the artists are currently on strike. They refuse to hold theatre plays, exhibitions or other cultural events. Now more then ever they need our support!!!!
The fight for democracy is not just about politics; it’s about the survival of free expression, art, and identity. These activists urgently need your support to continue their work and to protect themselves against the regime’s escalating violence.
How Your Donations Will Help
Your contributions will be used to:
- Purchase essential protection materials like gas masks, goggles, and health care solutions for the artists on the frontline.
- Support the creation of artworks and performances by Georgian artists opposing the regime.
- Provide emergency relocation assistance for activists in case the situation becomes life-threatening.
The fight is ongoing, and the need for international solidarity has never been greater.
We are accepting donations through gofundme platform and will continue to do so until Georgia achieves a free and fair parliamentary election.

Fundraising is lead by untitled tbilisi .
untitled tbilisi's mission is to fight for queer and feminist rights in the South Caucasus through art projects. The organization provides access to under-represented stories to encourage diversity by creating a sustainable platform in the Caucasus to raise awareness on gender and sexual orientation- based discrimination, and to promote cross-regional dialogue on these topics through arts, non-formal education and experiential practices. Our values centre on decoloniality, inclusivity, regional collaboration, social justice, and decentralisation.
The fundraising is in partnership with Kulturschafft e.V.
