Support the Flowers Family- Landon's Recovery
Donation protected
Landon Flowers is a beloved husband to Lindsay, father to 9-month-old son Lincoln, oldest brother to Colton, Lauren, Brennan, Madelyn, Taylor, and Jordan. He is a 29 years old graduate student of School Psychology who loves helping people in need more than anything in the world.
Landon was diagnosed with a series of autoimmune conditions that began in January of 2017 and have progressively gotten worse. What began as severe misdiagnosed asthma continued and morphed into a severe gastrointestinal disease called ulcerative colitis. This disease profoundly affects his quality of life as it causes severe pain and gastrointestinal bleeding daily. He went on a variety of anti-inflammatory drugs and steroidal medications in October of 2017 to manage his symptoms, but they failed to provide relief as of August 2018, shortly before his son was born, and when he was working a full-time job, two part-time jobs, and began another semester of grad school. Since that time, he was forced to stop working almost completely and has one year of internship left.
His diet has been reduced to bone broth and goat's milk kefir which leaves him with little energy, but reduce his pain and bleeding. His medical issues have made his transition to fatherhood immensely more difficult but he has remained resilient and continues to spend every moment he can with his family.
Landon has been through a variety of alternative and experimental treatments, that have already resulted in medical bills close to $20,000.00. After seeing improvements from stem cell therapy earlier this month, we want him to receive additional treatment from a world-renowned stem cell research and therapy center in Panama called the Stem Cell Institute with Dr. Niel Riordan. The site and their incredible medical breakthroughs can be viewed here: cellmedicine.com
We pray that with your financial support, that we can cover all the enormous medical expenses and he can begin his journey to healing. We would greatly appreciate any and all donations that will provide the necessary treatment in the hopes of recovery.
