Support the Freund Family After Hurricane Helene

We* are raising funds for the Freund Family (Devon, Andrew, Isabella, and Jezel). Hurricane Helene hit their beautiful home on Riverhaven hard. They live just below the dam, south of Mountain Island Lake (near Charlotte, NC), which faced record-breaking flooding. The finished basement flooded up to the ceiling, completely destroying the girls' bedrooms and bathroom, as well as the laundry area. Significant damage was done to the Bunkie (guest room/bathroom), Jelbel's sewing studio, and their deck/dock. Their HVAC system was destroyed and the list goes on. At this time, insurance is denying their claim. They are working to receive aid from FEMA, but there are no guarantees.

Devon and Andrew have opened their home to so many of us over the years, supporting other artists, hosting family/community gatherings, and being a haven of love and support to everyone they meet. It is our hope to lift them up in their time of need and help bring their home back to life.

I know many people tried to send money to Devon initially, she told us she was sending the money back to people because she couldn't possibly accept it. Andrew and Devon are so used to being "givers" it is hard for them to receive. Unfortunately, the harsh reality has set in with the denial of insurance and they are grateful for any financial support they receive. All funds received will be directly spent on the cleanup and restoration of their home.
