Support the Gamino Family

Hello, my name is Cristal Alvarado, I am a friend of the Gamino Family.

As some of you may know, Gabe and Nora’s son, Diego, who is 9 years old, was struck in the head by a falling tree branch on June 17th. This incident occurred at Bishop City Park while Diego was attending his after-school program. The accident caused Diego to have a skull fracture and brain bleeding. Due to his injuries, Diego was rushed to Northern Inyo Hospital and then transported to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital, where he is still being treated. Nora and Gabe continue to be by Diego’s side as his recovery begins. Nora and Gabe have to take time off from their jobs with the Forest Service and the BLM office while they are out of town. As a community that often comes together in difficult times, I would like to alleviate some of the stress they’re currently experiencing. The Gamino family will need our community’s support, prayers, and love throughout Diego’s difficult path to recovery.
