Support the Garden of Peace and our Local Families

Donation protected
To our dear friends and family.

First off, we would like to thank you all for the love, support, and energy you have all shared with us over the years as the Garden of Peace has grown into the beautiful space that it is today. A space for us all to come and not only share in the blessing of the medicine of Ayahuasca, but a space to come and connect with pachamama, with each other, and with ourselves.

We feel very grateful.

As many of your know, over the years the Garden of Peace has become intimately integrated with a few of the local Peruvian families that surround us.

We have been so blessed to be able to give and receive support from these beautiful people and their families, as well as cultivate deep loving connections with them. They have become an integral part of our family as well as the evolution of the Garden.

During these times, we recognize that many people, many families, and many businesses around the world are struggling. We recognize that we have many blessings to be grateful for here at the Garden of Peace, and we are grateful indeed. However, with that being said we also feel as though we have recently reached a level of struggle which leaves us unable to continue supporting our local families, and on top of that we have received recent information from the Peruvian government stating that retreat centres here in Peru will be forced to keep their doors closed for the next 3 months, which leaves us concerned about the survival of the Garden as a whole.

Family. We are asking for your help.

We deeply desire to be able to continue providing financial support to these local Peruvian families who have poured so much loving energy into the Garden over the years.

Let us introduce you.

Havico, is our neighbour who has become more like our hermano, our brother. He is always there, ready and willing to help us with whatever we need, whenever we need it.

Havico has three children who have been struggling with food and finances during these times. He has been making risky trips into town in early hours of the days to bring them what they need. Everyone here at the Garden came together to provide him with some extra financial support recently, as it is vitally important to us that they have all their needs met.

On top of worrying about the needs of his family, Havico has found the space in his heart to worry about us and our needs as well. He has made time to help the Garden with supplies on his trips to town, as well as supporting us with other situations of struggle that have arisen from the chaos of these trying times.

Havico is a farmer who grows and sells cacao, and do to the quarantine, he has been unable to have at income.

Thank you Havico!

We also have our two workers Oscar and Lenny, and there families under our wing.

Oscar is a father of two young children, who has also taken in his brother and his family during this time. Supporting 5 young mouths.

Oscar went out of his way to make a big supply run for the garden last week. Just when we were getting down to white rice and platanos, Oscar and his army of kids came through our door with big smiles covered by masks and bandanas. They were so happy to help us. Oscar is also be ry grateful to continue having work that allows him to support his family. A gratitude filled exchange on both ends to say the least.

Lenny is our youngest helper at only 18 years old. He started supporting the Garden when he was 14. He never ceases to amaze us. He’s up for anything... from carrying big river stones on his back to create a pathway, to climbing to the top of a casita to do some patch work. He pours so much support into this place. We don’t know what we would do without him.

He works so hard to be able to be a support to his own family. A true inspiration on many levels.

Thank you Oscar and Lenny!

Again family. We are very aware that this time of struggle is affecting everyone on some level. We would not be asking for this help if the Gardens struggle didn’t also mean a struggle for our local Peruvian families with whom we care so much about.

We are so deeply humbled by this experience of reaching out to ask for your support, as well we are beyond grateful to feel as though we have a community of people behind us who might be able and willing to lend their helping hand during this time.

For any donation of $100 or more, we would love to offer you a 10% discount on an upcoming retreat.

We also understand if now is not a time in which you are able to provide financial assistance, we would be so grateful to receive a prayer, not only for the Garden, but for Havico, Oscar, Lenny, and their families.

We love you all so much!

Thank you a million times over for your continued love and support.
