Support the Gershik Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Life has taken an unexpected turn for the Gershik family. As many of us know, Dima is not just a wonderful friend, but a devoted husband and a kind-hearted person. Unfortunately, he has fallen ill and is unable to work for the time being. His wife, Lana, has had to reduce her working hours at her main day job, as caring for Dima often overlaps with her schedule. At the same time, she is doing everything she can to find additional opportunities to support their family.
Lana and Dima have always been the kind of people who give selflessly to others. Lana, in particular, has dedicated so much of her time to volunteering within the Russian-speaking community in Chicago, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and acquaintances. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
Dima’s birthday is approaching on February 12—a time that should be filled with warmth and celebration. But this year, as he faces immense challenges, what would truly mean the most is the support of those who care about him and his family. While we can’t take away the hardships they are enduring, we can come together to lighten their burden. These funds are desperately needed to help cover the many extra expenses they’re facing, while also navigating the loss of two full-time incomes to support their household. Any contribution—no matter the size—will not only provide much-needed financial relief but also serve as a heartfelt reminder that they are not alone in this journey.
Let’s show the Gershik family that they are surrounded by love and support. Let’s create a wave of kindness that will bring them hope, comfort, and the reassurance that their community stands beside them.
Every donation is a blessing and will mean the world to them. Let’s make their hearts lighter and their spirits stronger in this difficult time.
With gratitude and warmth,
Caring Friends of the Gershik Family
