Support the Good Family and Michelle's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On October 9th, the Good family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Michelle was in the back of their bowling alley, "The Good Place", when a terrible accident happened with the machine she was trying to fix. Oconto first responders did an amazing job stabilizing her and getting her to Green Bay, where she was airlifted by helicopter ambulance to Milwaukee for an extensive, hours-long surgery.
Michelle is stable, her pain is well-managed, and she in good spirits. She will have some permanent damage from the head wound she sustained, and more surgeries are expected. Michelle is a fighter (if you know, you know! haha! ;) and we are hoping and praying that she will heal to the fullest extent, in every way. In the meantime, we would like to raise funds for the family to cover travel, medical bills, required supplies, and any other expenses the family is certainly facing. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.
Their message to those who rushed to provide immediate help and emergency first aid to Michelle at the time of the accident, to those who have prayed, reached out, and checked on the kids (and The Good Place) is this:
"We want to thank you all for such love and support from this amazing community through this difficult time. We are grateful to God for his peace and healing through all of it. Michelle is looking forward to being back soon with her head wrap and all (however, I’m encouraging more time resting). We deeply feel your love and are so blessed to be a part of this amazing community! Thank you for the many prayers lifted up and support offered!"
