Support the Goodman Family in Crisis

Dear Morse and TSD Families,

Today, I am writing on behalf of a remarkable child in our community, Danny Goodman, who is facing extraordinary challenges alongside his family. As you may know, Danny is a bright and determined student at Morse, living with physical challenges that require ongoing care and support. Recently, however, their world has been turned upside down by a series of heartbreaking events.

Not long ago, Danny’s mother tragically lost her sight, making it incredibly difficult for her to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of being a mother. As if this weren’t enough, Danny, his mom, and brothers (Andrew and Joseph) are also grappling with the sudden and unexpected loss of their father, Larry Goodman, a devoted parent who was the cornerstone and literally the eyes and feet of their family.

This family now faces unimaginable emotional and financial hardships. Between medical expenses, funeral costs, and the need for additional support at home, the burden is immense. As a community, we have an opportunity to step forward and show Danny and his family that they are not alone in this journey. We are raising funds to help ease the financial strain on this family during this difficult time.
