Support the grieving parents of 2 yo Valentino

Dear compassionate friends and supporters,
On July 15th, beautiful and cheerful, 2 and half-year-old Valentino passed away, after months and months of waiting for multiple organ transplants. Amid this devastating loss, we aim to give his surviving parents, Lindsey and Danny, the support they desperately need during this difficult time.
Tino was such a beautiful little boy, who radiated joy and warmed the hearts of everyone around him. He had the most contagious smile, that could brighten anyone's day and the chubbiest cheeks that no one could resist squeezing. Even though Tino was in desperate need of organs and he never knew what being healthy felt like, you'd never guess he felt sick, because he always managed to have a smile on his face and a laugh and squeals that could be heard across the halls, especially when watching his favorite movies, Sing, Moana and Nemo. Tino's passing has left his parents, who fought so hard for him, with unimaginable grief. They now face the difficult task of not only grieving the loss of their only child but also, navigating the complex emotional and financial burdens that accompany such a loss.
For the past year and a half, this family lived on one income, as Lindsey had to give up her job when Tino was discharged to go home with extensive complex medical issues, after spending his first year of life in the hospital. They never qualified for any type of financial assistance. In the past 6 months, Tino was transferred to UPMC in Pittsburgh and to help Lindsey financially, Danny gave up their home and moved in with his parents, expecting that Tino would get his transplant and would be hospitalized for an extended period of a year plus. He would then work on getting their single-family home before Tino would come back home. They were always so positive that they would receive the call of a matching donor. Never believed this would be the outcome. They now need a place to live and start over again. I'm setting this up for them, because if you know Lindsey, you know she would never, EVER, ask for help. Yet, she would be the first to give the shirt off her back whenever anyone needs it.
In these dark moments, let us shine a light of compassion, solidarity and love upon Lindsey and Danny. Together, we can help them navigate the path to healing, ensuring that they receive the care and support they so desperately need. Your kindness and generosity will make a huge difference in their lives, reminding them that they are not alone in their grief.
