Support The Hickory Nut's New Beginning in Chimney Rock NC
Donation protected
Hurricane Helene completely devastated the locally owned and operated business, The Hickory Nut in Chimney Rock, NC. It was also the home of the owners, Max Gonzalez and Shari and Robert Cummings. As of December 8th, 2024, The Hickory Nut in Chimney Rock, NC is no more. What is left of the building has been demolished. The business no longer has a permanent storefront, although they are fortunate to have a temporary location at the International Tryon Equestrian Center for up to a year. Any donations and contributions will go towards costs for a new culvert at the Hickory Nut location, debris removal of the building remains, and funds to build a new home for Max, Bob and Shari. We are so so thankful for all of the help we have received from the community and outside organizations that have traveled far to be of assistance.
Anything helps. God bless you.
