Support the Hitters Family in loving memory of Lucas

Donation protected
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lucas, who went to be an angel on 04/05/25. Lucas passed peacefully in his sleep and went to be with God. He was not only a cherished son, brother, friend and teammate, but also a beacon of pure love, strength and kindness to all that knew him.

Lucas impacted and touched the lives of countless individuals through his contagious laugh that would light up an entire room, his perfect smile, his huge selfless heart, and love/enjoyment for life. Whether you got to know Lucas for a long or short amount of time he was always able to instill a comforting presence like no other. No words can ultimately describe how beautiful and driven of a man Lucas was.

Lucas was diagnosed with Benign Epilepsy in high school and never let this get in his way. He was dedicated to everything that crossed his path. Lucas went to play division 1 soccer at 2 different schools marking countless hearts along the way. This past year he made a decision to move back to Texas and apply into Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. After months and months of hard work, he had just gotten accepted. We were all so proud of him, his accomplishments, and the goals he set for himself continuously.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are hoping to raise funds for the Hitters family to give Lucas the dignified and loving farewell he greatly deserves. The funds will go toward funeral and memorial expenses. We know that Lucas was so loved by many and if you feel led to contribute, no amount is too small. Please share this page and offer your prayers and support for the Hitters family during this time of grief.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us as we celebrate the life and legacy of someone so special.

With love and gratitude,
-Hayden De La Cruz
