Fund The Hive's Robotics Competition at Worlds

Tax deductible
The Hive is a 16-year-old High School FIRST Tech Challenge team, based in Sandy, Utah. Last year, we went to the World Championship for the first time ever. This year, we continually improved and reached greater heights, and we need your help to fund our trip to the World Championship at Houston. We're a team of diverse economic backgrounds, and your funding will help us take our entire team to the World Championship that they earned.

This was us after we won the Final match, along with our partner the Cubed ET's, and qualified for the World Championship.

This is one of our robot matches, where we scored a Utah State Record of 320 points!

Being part of a FIRST Tech Challenge team requires a lot of effort, both in terms of hardware and software, as well as outreach and impact. Our student-led team works with industry professionals to work hands-on, and we CAD, design, build, program, drive, test, fundraise, and document our own robot.

This is our robot, Beecon. We named her Beecon as we found that "Just as a Beecon lights the sea, we light up FTC." The impact we have on our community is massive, where we've started, mentored, and assisted over 13 FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Lego League teams.

One example of a team we've helped is Cyberviking 1. Cyberviking 1 is an FTC team based in West Virginia, made up of only one kid: CJ. We met CJ over Zoom and donated parts, fundraised money, and mentored him throughout his season. When we found out he couldn't compete, we decided to fly him out to Utah, where we competed alongside him and broke two State Records with him.

The money you donate to us has real impact, and with your help we can take all of our members to the World Championship in Houston. Our members have worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and your donation could be the deciding factor of us going to the Championship.
