Support the Howard Family After Jeff's Passing
Donation protected
One of our soccer players at Lamar University, Taylor Howard, lost her father Jeff after a year-long battle with brain cancer last week. The family moved from Hawaii to Houston over the past year to receive better care, which meant they all became his primary caretakers.
Lamar Soccer is trying to raise money to help the Howard family towards bills and lost income with the diagnoses and move. Every little bit helps the family out, and we want to take care of our own!
Jeff's wife, Jean, wanted us to share this about her husband:
"Jeff loved his family very much and was a big supporter in the community. Every holiday and throughout the years, he raised funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a large children's hospital in Hawaii, the Hawaii food bank, and also adopted a family every holiday season for basic supplies. He donated to student-athletes who were unable to afford school supplies, shoes, clothes, etc. He also had a special place in his heart for our veterans in the military and also provided educational support about their VA programs, sponsored events to raise awareness and ran fundraisers to help those who were struggling from PTSD."
