Support the Hoyts

We are devastated to share that Matt Hoyt unexpectedly passed away yesterday evening, on 6/24/2024, after he was found unresponsive. By the time he arrived at the hospital, it was clear that he could not be revived. While the exact cause of death has not yet been determined, all signs point to a coronary event.

Our hearts break for Lillian and for their four young children, who range in ages from 8 to 18. We want to do all we can to support them through this difficult time. We are setting up a GoFundMe account to help pay for funeral costs, hospital expenses, and the children’s future needs.

UPDATE: Lillian has been blown away by the amount of support she has received from beloved friends and strangers alike. We have arranged for the funds raised to be transferred directly into her bank account so that she can use them right away for funeral and hospital costs. Any remaining funds will be used for the children's future needs. As such, every time we hit the fundraising goal, I have been raising the goal so that GoFundMe does not close the campaign quite yet.
