Hey all,
We have big projects lined up to move our operations from our current location to a new one as our lease ends at the end of March. We made an announcement on March 16 detailing the closing of our location at 2501 w. Lawrence. Everything was good to go until The State of IL mandated a 15-day closure for all restaurants and bars due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unfortunately, this puts a strain on our hourly (tipped wage) employees who can no longer serve our guests for the next two weeks , when we close for good....and we are allowed to open up our new location. They are still on hand helping out with carry out orders and delivery orders hoping to see our long time customers who we've grown to love. They are the backbone of who we are and have been for the past 15 years.
With the current circumstances, they may be out of work for longer than anticipated, without any additional financial aid to get them through. We want to help everyone here with their personal finances in any way they can and be able to support their livelihood in the meantime.
All the funds collected here will go to our staff to support their living situation until good news comes along and the State allows us to open our new location.
Thanks always for your support, especially during such strange times.
