Support the J Neil Strong Memorial Aviation Scholarship Fund

We have partnered with Eastern Kentucky University to manage Neil’s scholarship fund. Once $25,000 is reached, EKU will make this an endowed scholarship which will provide financial aid to future pilots in perpetuity. We have made great strides and have just a short way to go. Thanks to all for your generous support.

This scholarship is being set up in honor of Jack Neil Strong. He was a native of Jackson in southeastern Kentucky. After high school, he played tennis at the collegiate level. Next, he began his quest to become an aviator. He went on to work for numerous airlines and companies, acquiring multiple type ratings in many different aircraft. He traveled extensively all over the world, touching and influencing many lives. He never hesitated to help others reach their goals in aviation. He was a kind soul and a friend to many.

This scholarship is being set up in his name to help an individual from his hometown or surrounding area achieve their dream of becoming a commercial pilot.
