Support the Jaffe Family After a Devastating Fire
We are reaching out to support the Jaffe family, who recently lost their home and belongings in the tragic Eaton fire. Mike and Kaori Jaffe are beloved members of our community, and now, they need our help.
Mike is a dedicated kindergarten Japanese teacher at Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School, inspiring students to learn and appreciate a new language and culture. Kaori is a passionate TK teacher at Dunsmore Elementary school, nurturing the youngest members of our community with her kindness and creativity. Together, they have built a life full of love, generosity, and connection.
The Jaffe family also includes their two daughters and their dog Ziggy, and their Hamster, Hammy. Many of us have experienced their warmth firsthand during the seasonal gatherings they hosted at their home, where friends and neighbors came together to share laughter, delicious food, and unforgettable memories.
The fire has taken away their home, but it has not taken away their strength or the love that surrounds them. However, overcoming a life after such a loss is a challenge no family should face alone.
We are asking for your support to help the Jaffe family during this difficult time. Your contributions will provide vital support for the family. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
Let’s come together as a community, just as they have always brought us together, and show the Jaffe family how much they mean to us. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
