Support the JLFFC's Fight for Affordable Healthcare

My name is Justice and I am a part of a group called JLFFC or (Junior leaders fighting for change). As you may know, there are currently many issues regarding healthcare in the United States. This issues effects everyone, rich and poor. Anyone can get sick or injured. While many US citizens do have health insurance, it is simply not enough to cover medical expenses.

The prices of medical checkups and procedures are rising at a rate higher than the amount health insurance covers. In addition, the USA spends a lot more on Health care spending, both per person and as a share of GDP than other high-income countries. However, U.S. has the lowest life expectancy at birth, the highest death rates for avoidable or treatable conditions, the highest maternal and infant mortality, and among the highest suicide rates. We must do something about this.

My family and I have felt the effects of these conditions. The high costs of medical procedures have discouraged many of my family members from getting the help they need when they need it. This has resulted in worsening conditions, rushes to the hospital, and in some cases, a funeral that could have been avoided. I am sure there are other families like mine that have experienced the same thing.

If the current condition of Healthcare and medical expenses persists, it will only get worse. Many more families will experience the same thing. People should not have to choose between their livelihoods or their life. To help people like me and my family, we started a go fund me to fund the organization UNDUE. UNDUE is an Organization that erases medical debt of every day people and allows them to get the help the need knowing that they won't have to pay it off.

We know that these solutions may not be as effective or as permanent as we would like but it is changing lives. We are also in the process of writing and sending letters to Congress to inform about the issue and hopefully find a permanent solution.
