Support the Jones Family Through Their Second Loss This Year

When you lose a child, the pain can be unbearable. Just a few months ago the Jones family lost one of their pillars: beloved son, brother, and father, Dustin Jones.

In a series of events all too familiar, the Jones family grieved and attempted to cope in the ways that made these past few months seem bearable. But the reality of having to endure all of the “firsts” without that person is daunting, and the holiday season makes you confront it head on. Unfortunately, for Dustin’s father, Ernie, a world without all of his beautiful children was too much to bear.

A few days ago the Jones family was shaken by a second unexpected loss in fewer than six months. As you can imagine, the financial impact of final expenses and taking time off to grieve a second family member in such a short time, and right before the holidays, is an immense strain.

We are asking for your help to remove this burden from this family. To have to figure out how to lay a loved one to rest when finances are exhausted is not something Ernie’s remaining grieving children should have to shoulder. If you are able to, please help us give them room to grieve by taking this off of their plates so they can focus on holding each other close and holding each other up during this unthinkable time.
