Support the Joseph Family in their time of need

We are raising funds to support our dear friends, Yetunde and Toks Joseph, during a challenging time and invite you to contribute.

In the last few months, Yetunde’s brother was diagnosed with colon cancer and passed away shortly after emergency surgery.

Simultaneously, Yetunde’s mother is struggling with her recovery from surgery, compounded by grief. Yetunde spent three months back home caring for her family and returned to the U.S. on July 15th. Just 12 hours later, their Maryland home was struck by lightning and caught fire.

Sounds pretty unreal, right?

While the fire department arrived quickly and no one was hurt, their home sustained significant damage. You can watch this news clip from DC’s local news station for more details.

Despite these challenges, the family remains thankful. The toll on their mental, physical, emotional, and financial well-being has been immense. We are rallying around the Joseph family to help offset some of the unexpected costs as they rebuild their lives. Although their insurance will cover some expenses, the road to recovery is still rough and costly.
