Support the Kaba Family's Memorial for Shawn

Dear Elevate Academy Community,

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved special education teacher, Shawn Kaba, who peacefully departed on July 20th, 2024, surrounded by her family. Shawn made a lasting impact on many students, families, and colleagues at Elevate Academy Nampa. Shawn dedicated her time to enriching the lives of all students, going above and beyond to ensure each child received the support they needed to thrive.

In honor of Shawn, her family has expressed a heartfelt wish to establish a memorial bench in her name at Cloverdale Cemetery. This bench will serve as a place of reflection and remembrance, where those who knew and loved Shawn can gather to celebrate her life.

As we come together to support Shawn’s family during this difficult time, we invite you to join us in contributing towards the purchase of this memorial bench. Our goal is to raise $5,000, which will cover the cost of the bench and its installation. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us reach this meaningful tribute to Shawn’s memory.
