Support the Kealings after the Eaton Fire

My name is Mia Thorsen and I am an alumni of Marshall Fundamental where, like all other Marshall students, Mrs. Felita Kealing changed my life for the better.

Felita, her husband Michael, and their sons Miles and Preston have lost everything in the Eaton Fire.

In her decades of work with Pasadena Unified, Mrs. Kealing has touched the lives of so many students. She has always provided a listening ear, a smile of support, and challenged all of us to become better versions of ourselves. She is a comforting presence, and everyone who knows her knows that Marshall just would not run the same without her. I had the privilege of growing up with her two sons, who are responsible for many laughs, smiles, and good memories from my adolescence.

Mrs. Kealing embodies leading with kindness and compassion, and is a perfect example of what it means to put others before yourself. I know I speak for many of my former classmates when I say that Mrs. Kealing has gone out of her way to save the day for me on many different occasions.

Mrs. Kealing has been a personal cheerleader for so many of us, and this GoFundMe is an opportunity to support the amazing Kealing family after being directly affected by the Eaton Fire.
