Support the Keena family

Chelsea, Michael, and Silas are loving, kind, generous, hardworking (especially Silas, right?!), fun, funny, creative, homey, and grateful people. To know the Keena family is to adore them. As Chelsea's sister, I have had the honor of witnessing up close the incredibly tender and fierce love they have both for each other and their community; it's the hold your hand through any kind of storm, healing love we all need.

Over the past couple of weeks, Chelsea has been diagnosed with an aggressive and very rare form of stage 3 breast cancer. She has been as graceful and strong in processing this information as ever. She has already embarked upon the beginning steps of her healing journey and has been told it's going to be a long, trying year ahead. Thus, I'm here to call on the support of all of you that know and love the Keenas too. They need financial support to help pay for various treatment costs (both conventional and auxiliary), as well as just the regular grind of bills, as Chelsea won't be able to help generate income for their family for the foreseeable future. In addition to this gofundme, I will also be setting up a meal train if you prefer to support through food or would like to do both.

It's also essential to all of us that you send the Keenas love and moral support from your dear hearts as often as possible, and in doing so, that you imagine Chels as the ever radiant, vital, whole, gorgeous being that she is. She is not down and out, she is strong, centered and courageous.
