Support the Kleinert Family Rebuild after Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Across Los Angeles the destruction from the many wildfires is absolutely devastating. My heart breaks for the 1000s of families who will have to rebuild their lives in the wake of losing everything.
My brother, Matthew and his wife Christina are among that growing list of families. The Altadena house they completely renovated 2 years ago to be their family home for Levi (7), Zoe (4), Maverick (3), Oliver (20 months), baby 5 (due in May) and dog Bali, along with all their worldly possessions has become a pile of ashes with nothing more than Levi's chalk drawings remaining on the driveway.
With 4 small kids, your home is your world. A place where they ate, slept, did homeschool, worked remotely, hosted weekly Sunday Church groups, celebrated kids birthdays, birthed 2 babies, and hosted countless holidays for family and friends. They love hard and welcomed the community into their home as family of their own to create incredible and cherished memories together.
Along with much of the Altadena community, they are going to need help as they rebuild. As Matthew's sister, Christina's SIL, and Aunt to my very favorite kiddos, I'm asking for your help to share a little love back to the people that mean the world to me and so many of us.
We are beyond thankful for their safety, but as they catch their breath from an unfathomable few days, they will start to process what's next.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Many of you have asked how to help, and right now with the road unknown, the best way is truly money. As they focus on one day at a time, their needs will continue to evolve (including clothes, toys, personal hygiene items, baby items, food, bedding, school supplies, household supplies and home goods). Your prayers are also very appreciated.
with so much love and gratitude,
Coco

MESSAGE FROM MATT & CHRISTINA
We and the kids are devastated to share that our house burned down last night in the #eaton fire in Altadena but feel blessed that we were able to evacuate safely. As I drove through the neighborhood today there were hundreds of houses burned to the ground with hardly any still standing. Northern Altadena was leveled by the fire so please pray for all those who have lost their homes and protection over the firemen working hard to contain the spread.
Thank you to all for the outpouring of love and support during this tough time for our family. Though at times it’s hard to remember that it’s just stuff, it’s the memories we will carry with us. The Lord will turn ashes into beauty. A beautiful reminder that the things you can touch can be gone in a moment but the eternal you cannot see will last you forever. All of us are safe and together. Thank you Jesus. We are grateful. And life will continue to be beautiful and good. ❤️
