Support the Kratz Family 9 Mons. of medical stays

To know the Kratz family is to know a family vibrantly filled with love, passion, kindness and a strong desire to make everyone arounbd them a better person.

Since September 2022, Glen has spent more time in Nursing homes, Emergency Rooms and Hosipital beds than he has anywhere else. Clearly this has impacted not only the family, it has also impacted those closest to them as the journey has unfolded.

Ove the course of the journey the Kratz family has pulled together and worked diligently to make it to the next step. Honestly for them to have made it the last 9 months without asking for help outside their family is a testiment to their determination.

Unfortunately the last 3 months of the journey have intensified with Glen being in the hospital for the last month and been told to expect the stay to last another 5 to 8 weeks. When Glen was first admitted to through the ER his heart was functioning at 18% and the outlook was grim, at best. Kris took an unpaid leave from work as any loving spouse would when faced with the possibility of their loved one passing.

Today Glen is still in the hospital and his heart function has improved to around 25%, the road to recovery is long and challenging. Even with the best of insurance, the out of pocket costs are astronomical and add to this the lacke of leave income and future expenses it has simply become more than one family can bear.

This supporting and encouraging fundraiser is being developed to encourage the Kratz family, return to them what they have given so many and support them as the journey continues.
