Support the LaGatta Family in Their Time of Loss

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to share the unexpected passing of Mark LaGatta on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. Mark was a loving husband to my sister Margo, a dedicated father to his five children; Gabrielle, Faith, Justine, Kyle & Logan, he was a devoted son and brother, and any of his friends or family knew they could depend on him to be there when they needed him.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. The LaGatta's took a huge financial hit after the accident and are still fighting to get their just compensation from the state four years later. Ontop of existing burdens lingering from the accident they have now been hit with unexpected and sudden expenses of laying Mark to rest and taking care of his surviving family. While in this ficancial transitioning period, I would like to ask you, his friends and family, to help me raise money for Mark's family and children to help with any expenses and family care during their time of grieving.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 21st from 4-6pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Crystal River, FL. Full Veterans burial will be held on Thursday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Veterans Association in Mark's honor or contribute to the LaGatta family GoFundMe.
