In Loving Memory of Jordan Thomas Laskowski

It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Jordan Thomas Laskowski, who was taken from us far too soon in a devastating automobile accident while returning home from spring break this past Friday. Jordan, just 14 years old, was deeply loved by his family—his two sisters, mother, father, and countless others who had the privilege of knowing him.

Along with Jordan in the car were his two sisters, Riley (12), who is currently hospitalized with serious injuries, and Gracie (8), who, along with their mother and grandmother, thankfully escaped without physical injury. However, the emotional toll on this family is unimaginable, and they will need all of our support during this incredibly difficult time.

Scott, Jordan’s father, is a man I deeply respect. As a dedicated father, he always made time for his children, whether it was at a sporting event or out enjoying a simple ice cream. The bond between Scott and Jordan was especially strong, founded on their shared love of sports, music, and their mutual passion for the Dallas Cowboys. Together, they cheered on their team, and it’s a memory Scott will cherish forever.

No parent should ever have to bury their child, especially one as young and full of promise as Jordan. Scott has lost his best friend, and his daughters have lost their big brother, their protector, and their hero.

This family, already devastated by loss, will need our support as they navigate the long road ahead, especially as Riley recovers.
