Show Support for Joe, Laura and their Sons

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to get this disclaimer out there first: If Joe were writing this, it would be much more eloquent as he is a gifted writer. So, I apologize in advance. Here goes my attempt to briefly recap the situation...

Just a few months ago, Joe and Laura's world changed forever. Joe was diagnosed with lymphoma. He's undergone intensive treatments and had lots of complications along the way. Unfortunately, the treatments didn't work and his cancer progressed. This week, Joe made the brave decision to stop further treatments, leave the hospital and spend his remaining time at home with family and friends.

If you know Joe well, or even a little, you probably know that he loves Bruce Springsteen, Jeeps, and the beach. But, more than anything, Joe loves his family. We set up this GoFundMe to help ease some of their financial stress and support the overwhelming cost of being sick. (For example, home nursing care for a week costs $5,000 out-of-pocket.) Mainly, we all want to do something to show our love for Joe, Laura, and their three young sons - Abe, Gus, and Ike. Keep them all in your thoughts, especially those little guys.
