Lefebvre Family Paradise Fire Fund

Like many others in the wake of the devastating Camp Fire, my sister-in-law's family lost their home and everything they own along with it.  Gina and Leland were born and raised in Paradise and, after marrying, made the decision to start their family there.  After 13 years in their Paradise home, just two months ago, they moved into their dream home in Magalia better suited for their family of four.   In addition to their home and belongings, they have lost the school where Gina worked, much of Remi's elementary school,  Lola's entire intermediate school, and the studio where Lola avidly danced.  Adding to the devastation, Leland's parents' home was destroyed as well as Gina's parents' (and my in-laws')  35 year old family home.  

Gina, Leland, and Lola fled their home on the morning of November 8th with very little in tow.  Gratefully, they were able to pick up Remi from school before beginning a frightening drive to safety in Chico.  Like so many others, they did not anticipate the severity of the fire and the possibility of losing it all.  The devastation this fire has brought to them and their entire community is unfathomable. 

The Lefebvres are a truly beautiful family in need of support.  Though money can't replace what is lost we would love to raise money to help them acquire the necessities they need to live day to day following this enormous loss.  If you are looking for a way to give, I cannot think of a better place to start.  We are so desperately sorry for what they have lost, but the light of hope we hold for their future is something we can help to inspire.
