Support the legacy of David Schneider

I have organized this fundraiser in support of my uncle's family and legacy. Here is a message from his wife:

Dear Friends, family and many people whose lives were touched by my husband, David Schneider:

It is with much sorrow that I share the news of Dave's recent passing.

In addition to being my best friend, loving husband, and business partner, Dave touched the lives of countless people through his work in the community. His greatest joy was to provide the gift of entertainment for others through his work as a magician and as Santa. Through our business, ABC Entertainment, he donated many hours of service to hospitalized children and community groups. For years, he gave free magic lessons for youth.

A man who put others first, Dave worked hard to keep our small business going even during pandemic restrictions that brought in-person gatherings to a halt. "Santa" still made individual visits to hospitalized children via Zoom. And, he worked a side gig driving dialysis patients to treatment.

With people being able to gather again, Dave and I were looking forward to a solid business year and rejoiced in booking many events.

During the last few months, while being treated for serious heart problems and for cancer, Dave made plans for keeping the business going while fighting for his life.

Losing Dave has been an incredibly challenging and emotional experience. Along with shouldering the financial burdens of medical and funeral expenses, I am working to keep our business and Dave's dreams alive.

I so appreciate the messages of comfort and support from people whose lives were touched by my wonderful husband. Since some have asked how they might help, a GoFundMe has been established in his memory and to help me carry on his dreams and legacy.
