As some of you will know, Shane was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer in March this year.

Shane is an adoring husband to Tara, and a vibrant and caring Dad to Jed (10), Eden (8) and Koa (3). He's also a very much loved and generous friend and community member in Bawley Point, where he lives.

Shane and Tara have faced Shane's diagnosis with gutsy optimism, and Shane's Doctors are positive, but Shane's intensive 12 month + long treatment of chemo, surgery and radiation means that finances will be tight. Shane is the sole income earner and Tara will now be required to care for Shane.

Let's get around Shane and Tara so they can both focus on Shane's health, ensure Jed, Eden and Koa are supported, and their day-to-day lives are impacted as little as possible.
