Support the Liquid Spine, Hudson River dance film!

Donation protected
Liquid Spine is a global dance series that seeks to unearth environmental needs, particular to water systems, through movement, community, and the arts.

Each year, Liquid Spine creates a new dance film in a new part of the world. Each film highlights the specific needs, challenges, or successes particular to that bioregion. Each work doubles as a work of art and an activator in education, environmentalism, and activism. Our past films have been created in Massachusetts and Sicily, Italy.

In 2025, Liquid Spine seeks to create our next film "Liquid Spine, Hudson River" in New York City. We are thrilled to have identified the directorial team for this project. Co-Directors and NY residents, Camryn Brothers and Aaron Michael Foreman, are eager and excited to create a screendance work that illuminates the effects of pollution and climate change in the Hudson River. In particular, these artists will work to create a narrative that highlights the extinction of multiple fish species from the Hudson and the impacts of un-livable environments on all living beings.

Liquid Spine relies solely on donations and grant-based funding to complete projects. In order to make this film a reality, we are asking our INCREDIBLE community to help us. Your donation, no matter the size, will enable us to do powerful work at the intersection of art and activism. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

*Donors that contribute $1000 or more will be listed in the film credits as a sponsor.
